This mountain bike challenge was started in 2006. The route covers approximately 30 miles of excellent mountain biking terrain travelling through the South Pennines of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
About fifty percent of the route is off-road with many difficult but rewarding downhill sections, moorland single track and a few challenging uphills!! The event is open to anyone over the age of 12. Anyone under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
This is a fund raising event in support of 'The Shred' (Upper Slaithwaite Church).
Please note that the challenge does cover some difficult terrain and anyone entering the event should have suitable cycling experience.
