Kirklees Road safety Unit will be running training courses for children during the summer school holidays. Theses courses are aimed at children aged 9 -13 yrs who would like to ride a bike safely on the road. Summer Holiday Childrens Cycle Training Courses Monday 3 August - Thurs 6 August: Scissett Middle School, Wakefield Road, Scissett. Start time: 10am Monday 3 August - Thurs 6 August: Linthwaite Ardron J&I School, Church Lane, Linthwaite. Start time: 1.30pm Monday 10 - Thurs 13 August: Batley Sports and Tnnis Centre, Windmill Lane, Howden Clough, Birstall. Start time: 10am Collect an application form from the sport centre reception (Tel: 01924 326181) and return it completed at the latest Wednesday before the course begins. Monday 10 - Thurs 13 August: Greenhead Park, Huddersfield. Start time:m 1.30pm Monday 17 - Thurs 20 August: Whitcliffe Mount Sport Centre, Turnsteads Avenue, Cleckheaton. Start time: 10am Collect an application form from the sport centre reception (Tel: 01274 335130) and return it completed at the latest Wednesday before the course begins. Monday 17 - Thurs 20 August: Upperthong J & I School, Burnlee Road, Holmfirth.
